Background
Dr. Katsivas joined the ID Division in 2005. He graduated from the University of Patra Medical School, in his native Greece in 1994, and subsequently started Residency in Internal Medicine/Pulmonary in Athens. In 1999 he moved to the US and completed Internal Medicine training in Chicago and UCSD and Infectious Diseases Fellowship training in Los Angeles. His main interests are primary HIV care, Addiction Medicine and clinical research in those areas. He is a graduate of the UCSD MAS program in Clinical Research (CREST Program).
