Dr. Logan received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College. She completed her Medical Degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL in 2006, and continued at UAB Hospital for her internship and residency in internal medicine. She then moved to the University of California, San Diego to complete her fellowship in Infectious Diseases. Her fellowship research focused on HIV point-of-care diagnostics and HIV care in resource-limited settings, and she is completing a Master’s in Clinical Research as part of the UCSD Master’s of Advanced Studies (MAS) program. Dr. Logan joined the UCSD faculty in 2013 and continues her research in HIV. She also maintains clinical work as one of the solid organ transplant infectious disease faculty at UCSD, and maintains an HIV-HCV co-infection clinic at the San Diego VA Hospital.
